ABOUT US

M&Sillos is an international supplier and the biggest producer of flour from the highest quality wheat in the region. Currently M&Sillos has over 150 employees, which are committed on fulfilling the special needs of our customers. The daily capacity for the grain processing is over 600 ton from which M&Sillos produces flour with the highest standards of ISO and HACCP, including the world’s highest food safety standard FSSC 22000, IFS and BRC.

M&Sillos leads the market in Kosovo, with wholesale and retail flour supplies, as well as most of the bakeries. Aside from the inside sales in Kosovo, as the main producer of wheat flour in the region, M&Sillos currently exports in different countries in the region and world.

M&Sillos continuously contributes in developing the producing of wheat in Kosovo by cooperating with over 15,000 individual wheat producers.

M&Sillos does not only consider Kosovo’s wheat as a raw material for producing the flour, but instead treats it as a strategic product for the welfare and food security for Kosovo’s citizens, both in terms of quantitative and quality assurance. Therefore, in this aspect M&Sillos continuously offers, promotes and regularly invests on improving the conditions for wheat cultivation and advancing the position of the farmer in Kosovo.

Certification and Arrangements

M&Sillosi & FDA (USA)

M&Sillos has managed to register with the Food and Drug Administration in the United States (FDA) to export flour in the USA in accordance with the US Federal Food and Drug Act

M&Sillosi & KFC (USA)

M&Sillos has developed companionship with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). The condition for this cooperation was the fulfillment of all standards needed to enter into the system YUM! A network known all over the world. The required standards for joining the network are: Certification with the Food Safety system FSCC 22000 (certification scheme for the food and security systems including ISO 22000: 2005, ISO / TS 22002-1: 2009 and the additional requirements FSSC 22000).  Also, specific flour tests were preformed until the required specification by the YUM standard was reached

M&Sillosi & YUM

M&Sillos is registered and it is an approved furnisher with the system “YUM Furnisher” tracking for evaluation and recognition (Starnet), a unique tool that facilitates managing the relationship between YUM brands, suppliers and auditors for YUM! The YUM Restaurant Services Group around the world operates with brands such as TacoBell, KFC, Pizza Hut and WingStreet.

M&Sillosi Exporting to EU

Due to these certifications M&Sillos exports its products in several other countries such as: Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Albania and Montenegro.

M&Sillosi & UN Mission Minusca

M&Sillos supplies flour to the UN Mission Minusca, Bangui, Central African Republic, UN Mission Minusma

M&Sillosi is Certified with FSSC 22000

M&Sillos has managed to become certified due to its Food Safety System (FSSC 22000) in the category of “Processing of the products in a stable environment” from TÜV NORD, which is the world leader in testing and certification of products and systems and it is also accredited from German DAkks (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle);

M&Sillosi is Certified with IFS

M&Sillos has been certified with International Featured Standard (IFS) in the category of “Products from Wheat, Grains, Industrial Ovens and Pastry” for several usages and “The use of safe methods when producing wheat flour in paper sacks” also from TÜV NORD, which is the world leader in testing and certification of products and systems and it is also accredited from German DAkks (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle)

M&Sillosi is Certified with BRC

Certification with the International Standard for Food Safety (BRC) in the category of “Dry products and their content” from “Grain processing and packaging” also from TÜV NORD, which is the world leader in testing and certification of products and systems and it is also accredited from German DAkks (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle)

M&Sillosi & DAK

MS Laboratory is accredited according to ISO standard 17025, as a Test Laboratory of Wgeat, flour and bran. The accreditation was conducted by the General Directorate of Accreditation of Kosovo (DAK). The Directorate of Accreditation of Kosovo (DAK) is the only National Accreditation Body, recognized by law, to evaluate in accordance with international standards the technical competence of the Conformity Assessment Bodies.
